  • Advocacy Teacher Training for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Fiji

  • The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) in Fiji invited the IATC again to send 2 Teachers to conduct an in-house Advocacy Teacher Training Course.
  • Giles Surman from Hong Kong and Cheow Wee from Malaysia Teacher trained, with the assistant of Mike Delaney Assistant DPP ( Fiji ) who had been trained by the IATC in the Teacher Training Course for the ODPP and Legal Aid Commission the previous year.
  • There were 3 Trainee Teachers and 6 Juniors, all Prosecutors from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions Fiji. The Trainee Teachers ranged from 8 to 18 years in practice, whilst the Juniors are between 2 to 8 years.
